WAR CHILD RELANZA ÁLBUMES EN APOYO A NIÑOS AFECTADOS POR CONFLICTOS

War Child ha relanzado varios álbumes clásicos para ayudar a recaudar dinero para los niños cuyas vidas se ven afectadas por los conflictos en curso en áreas como Ucrania y Afganistán.
Están relanzando, ‘1 Love’, ‘Hope’, ‘Help! A Day In The Life’ y ‘War Child Presents Heroes’ a través de War Childs Records.
Los álbumes están disponibles en vinilo negro, amarillo y rojo limitado por primera vez a partir del 8 de abril y se pueden pedir en https://warchildrecords.tmstor.es/
Todas las ganancias de la venta se destinarán a apoyar a los niños cuyas vidas se han visto afectadas por la guerra en áreas como Ucrania y Afganistán.
Los álbumes clásicos, lanzados entre 2002 y 2009, incluyen a artistas como Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Coldplay, Radiohead, Gorillaz, Manic Street Preachers, Beck, Oasis, Lily Allen, Yeah Yeah Yeahs y muchos más.
En un comunicado, War Child dijo: “Al comprar estos álbumes clásicos, los fanáticos están apoyando a War Child para llegar a los niños en Ucrania y las zonas de conflicto de todo el mundo y brindarles la protección vital, la educación y el apoyo psicosocial que necesitan”.
‘1 Love’ se lanzó por primera vez en 2002 en colaboración con NME para conmemorar los 50 años de la revista. Los artistas eligieron sus canciones favoritas para hacer una versión del disco, e incluyó a Muse haciendo una versión de ‘House Of The Rising Sun’ de The Animals y The Prodigy haciendo una versión de ‘Ghost Town’ de The Specials.
En 2003, se lanzó ‘Hope’ en colaboración con The Daily Mirror como respuesta a la guerra de Irak. En solo tres semanas, los artistas cubrieron una variedad de temas, incluido George Michael que hizo una versión de ‘The Grave’ de Don McLean y New Order que hizo una versión de ‘Vietnam’ de Jimmy Cliff.
