R.E.M. CONTRIBUYE AL ÁLBUM ‘GOOD MUSIC TO AVERT THE COLLAPSE OF THE AMERICAN DEMOCRACY’

R.E.M, junto con una gran cantidad de artistas, entre los que también se incluyen Matt Berninger de The National, Thurston Moore, Sylvan Esso y The Decemberists, quienes han contribuido con temas para una nueva compilación titulada Good Music To Avert The Collapse Of American Democracy.
La compilación estará disponible a las 12:01 am PT este viernes 4 de septiembre durante 24 horas únicamente a través de Bandcamp. El nombre del álbum va directo al grano: Buena música para evitar el colapso de la democracia estadounidense.
El álbum incluye un total de 40 grabaciones inéditas que se venderán por $20.20
Esta colección beneficia a Fair Fight. Esta es una organización de derechos de los votantes que promueve elecciones justas en todo el país mediante la educación de los votantes, la reforma electoral y la lucha contra la supresión de votantes.
La portada del álbum recopilatorio ha sido diseñada por Shepard Fairey y las ganancias del álbum se donarán a la organización de justicia racial en línea más grande de América del Norte, Color of Change.
