David Bowie está siendo honrado una vez más con un extenso set de reediciones repleto de excelentes temas y rarezas inéditas. Esta vez está arrojando luz sobre el período clásico de The Man Who Sold The World de Bowie con un paquete de reedición llamado The Width of the Circle.

El próximo lanzamiento se anuncia como una pieza complementaria a la reedición de Metrobolist del año pasado, que también rindió homenaje a la era de The Man Who Sold The World de Bowie. Profundizando aún más en los archivos de Bowie, The Width of the Circle reúne una variedad de pistas que no pertenecen al álbum, versiones alternativas y sesiones de la BBC. En total, hay 21 grabaciones inéditas incluidas en The Width of the Circle.

Habrá un set de dos CD que incluye un libro de 48 páginas, así como una edición de vinilo de 10 pulgadas que incluye las mezclas de Tony Visconti de 2020 de “The Prettiest Star”, “London Bye, Ta-Ta”, “Memory of a Free Festival “y” Holy Holy “.

    Originally recorded and rejected as the follow up single to “Space Oddity”. This mono mix was finally released on the Sound & Vision box set in 1989.
  3. London Bye, Ta-Ta (1970 Stereo Mix) *
    This stereo mix of the above remained unreleased until the reformatted reissue of the Sound & Vision box set in 2003, replacing the mono mix.
  4. Memory Of A Free Festival (Single Version Part 1) *
  5. Memory Of A Free Festival (Single Version Part 2) *
    The re-recorded electric version of the closing track from the David Bowie (aka Space Oddity) album released as a single on Mercury Records 6052 026 on June 26, 1970.
