MARK KNOPFLER A LANZAR BOX SET ‘MARK KNOPFLER – THE STUDIO ALBUMS 1996-2007’

EMI / UMC lanzará la colección Mark Knopfler – The Studio Albums 1996-2007 el 1 de octubre, para el mundo fuera de los Estados Unidos , en vinilo negro y CD de 180 gramos. El lanzamiento en Estados Unidos seguirá el 10 de diciembre. La colección conmemora el 25 aniversario del lanzamiento del primer álbum de estudio en solitario del célebre cantautor y héroe de la guitarra, Golden Heart de 1996, que aparece entre sus primeros cinco álbumes de estudio en su propio nombre, de los nueve que ha lanzado en su incomparable carrera.

Los otros álbumes de la colección, todos de gran éxito y reverenciados por la crítica en todo el mundo, son Sailing To Philadelphia (2000), The Ragpicker’s Dream (2002), Shangri-La (2004) y Kill To Get Crimson (2007). El set también incluye un disco extra exclusivo de las caras B de estudio de la época, Gravy Train: The B-Sides 1996-2007.

La colección estará disponible en formato de vinilo de 11 LP y de 6 CD. El nuevo lanzamiento marca la primera vez que Golden Heart, Sailing To Philadelphia y Gravy Train: The B-Sides 1996-2007 se publican en vinilo.

Miles Showell ha remasterizado el audio de cada álbum en los estudios Abbey Road de Londres. Anteriormente, Showell supervisó la remasterización a media velocidad de la banda sonora de Local Hero de Knopfler y Brothers In Arms de Dire Straits para su lanzamiento en marzo de 2021.

La caja incluirá una tarjeta de descarga y seis impresiones artísticas en relieve de cada una de las portadas de los álbumes. El conjunto de CD se guardará en una caja de concha de lujo con los CD en billeteras con inserciones impresas a doble cara dobladas, así como seis hermosas tarjetas de arte de cada una de las portadas de los álbumes.
